Lone Star Bulldog Club Rescue is a non-profit, completely volunteer-driven group dedicated to saving and rehoming Bulldogs with loving families.
As a component of Lone Star Bulldog Club, Lone Star Bulldog Club Rescue (LSBCR), a non-profit, completely volunteer-driven group, is dedicated to saving and rehoming Bulldogs with loving families.
LSBCR typically has about 15-20 Bulldogs in its care at any one time and that number is rising now that Bulldogs are listed on the American Kennel Club's Top 10 Most Popular Breeds list.
LSBCR takes in Bulldogs that may be strays, owner surrenders or shelter pick-ups. The dogs are then cared for and treated by vets, placed in loving foster homes to be fully evaluated and finally matched with the best possible families.
In 2009, LSBR was able to cover more than $35,000 in veterinary bills, thanks to generous donations from loyal supporters. The group also helped rehome nearly 70 Bulldogs.
